Using modular structure, I used the word 'death' to promote the idea that a word can be intense even when its minimal.
Here, I created a typeface that was expanded into the 'On The Grid' Poster. I named it Lifeform for the interest I have with space, along with creating these unique letterforms that naturally remind me of what alien text could look like.
Time is a valuable thing. In this piece, I inform the importance of time and how easily it can slip away through the movement of an hourglass.
Typography here can be seen through a story or narrative. The story begins with 'knowledge in strength', which expands the idea that without knowledge or to refuse knowledge there would be a cross over into ignorance. Entering the grey area of 'ignorance is the kiss of death' symbolizes the certainty of disaster. Crossing this line is very dangerous and unknown, as the caution strikethrough would suggest.
These lyrics are from Lana Del Rey's 'Video Game'. This piece symbolizes anyone who has gone through the struggles, knowing that people believe heaven is a place on Earth with you here. This is a more personal piece.
This piece was created as a lighthearted illustration to represent myself. Struggling through insomnia, I felt like a sloth and would sleep all day and be up all night. I use the idea of the simile to create something that felt relatable to anyone who deals with insomnia.
Today's technology has become very captivating. But is it too much? This piece brings up the issue on whether or not media has a bigger influence on us than we think it does.
